Fire safe LFP Battery

Graphene LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries are safer than both lead-acid and other lithium-ion battery chemistries.

  • Chemistry: LFP is a type of lithium-ion battery, its chemistry differs significantly from other lithium-ion chemistries like NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide) and NCA (Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide).
  • Non-hazardous: LFP batteries are free of above-mentioned hazardous chemical substances and have a significantly lower fire risk.
  • Inherent stability: The chemical composition of LFP makes it less reactive and more stable compared to other battery chemistries.
  • Thermal stability: LFP batteries have excellent thermal stability, meaning they are less likely to overheat and catch fire under extreme conditions. Other lithium-ion chemistries are more prone to thermal runaway.

Lead Acid Battery Dangerous

Lead-acid batteries contain toxic materials (lead and sulfuric acid) that can cause serious harm if leaked or mishandled.
